The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Auth0 (London, England)
Interview
I was referred by an existing employee and a friendly recruiter reached out to me very quick.
On the initial call it became obvious that my skills weren't a match for the specific team I applied for. But the company is hiring for many teams and the recruiter was very optimistic that I could be placed elsewhere. I was told to look out for a follow up email to connect me to a different role.
Email never came and I got ghosted. Very unprofessional, especially given that I was a referral. How hard is it to just tell me it's not a good fit and move on?
Good process with different stages: personal, background, and code. They were thoughtful, organized, professional interviewers who communicated clearly, created a supportive environment, and ensured the experience felt fair and engaging throughout.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Auth0 (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2023
Interview
First a recruiter screen, then hiring manager meeting, then a take home test, and then a technical screen, and system design walkthrough. Followed finally by a meeting with the whole team.
