I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Author-it Software in Sept 2015
Interview
I applied online. A couple weeks later, I was contacted by the HR manager and had a phone screen to discuss my background, basic details about the company, the position and my availability.
After a 2nd phone screen to clarify details of the position, I had two phone interviews with the hiring manager. The hiring manager put me in touch with leadership in sales, customer engagement, program management and product management. I set up phone interviews, visited for an onsite interview, and met with the hiring manager again in person for coffee. Conversations focused around sharing information on the company's position in the market and product goals, with transparency around working for a fast-growing startup.
I was able to confirm the position and the company were a good fit, and they wanted to make sure I was well-informed. It was helpful to talk to people on the phone that I would be working with remotely.
