      Customer Support Associate Interview

      25 Sept 2018
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Autolist (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

The interview process took approximately 3 weeks! After I applied online, I participated in a phone screening where I answered questions about my skill-set and work history. After the phone screening, I was asked to complete a take-home assignment where I responded to theoretical customer requests. The take-home assignment gave me a great sense of the kinds of problems I would be solving in this role. After submitting the take-home assignment, I spoke with my would-be manager, who asked me detailed questions about the role. The last step was an in-person interview which consisted of a few 1-on-1 interviews as well as lunch with the entire team. I was really impressed with the knowledge of interviewers in terms of the company, product, and vision for the future. They were able to provide valuable insight to all my questions. Being able to speak with people from different sides of the business also helped me understand how the company functions at different levels. Overall, the interview process was challenging but very rewarding. The process allowed me and the company to gauge each other, and ensure that there was good fit.
