The first round was with the recruiter, which was a good discussion.
The position in the company's careers page was already taken down by the time of the interview, which was weird according to me. The second round was a technical round with three people on the interview panel who were most probably working remote. One guy was the engineering manager who initially started the interview. Though he did not give much context on the role and the expectations, the discussion was decent. Later, other people jumped in and the experience was very unprofessional; one of them was eating during the interview. Questions asked were all over the place, with lot of sarcasm. The 3 people seemed to sending messages among themselves and smiling during the interview. With time, interview turned very unprofessional and hostile. Irrespective of the outcome, Interview panel should not forget that they are representing the company/brand and should not forget basic human etiquette. At the end of the interview, when I asked about the role and expectations, they did not give a proper answer. If they had already found someone by then already, there was no need to waste everybody's time. Overall, very negative experience.
