Heavy rushed recruit by talent/recruiting team including phone screen and full-video interview. Discussed several openings and next steps. Recruiting wants that resume and cover and gets you pumped up. And just as fast (at least you hear) there’s a quick no thank you call, the hiring boss was looking for people to bring in the business. Red flag issues: 1) talent misrepresents / doesn’t know the needs – the job descriptions don’t say it but it’s a consulting co that wants sr people to bring in the $; 2) talent only concerned about getting resumes in; 3) ghosts you afterward (what about those other openings, etc.). All a bit unethical IMHO. At least the callback was honest in admitting the misrepresentation of sales goals.
