I applied online. I interviewed at B&H Photo Video in Jun 2012
Interview
B&H is well known to photographers everywhere so being a photographer & frequenting their website I guess It was only a matter of time before I hit the careers page. I emailed them a resume & got a response that they would be in contact. I was then invited for an interview. When I came in, the place seemed to be bustling with people & everyone seemed to know each other. I met with some guy from HR & it was just the basic 10 minute intro talk & to get some feel of my background in photography & how this job would fit in to my overall goal as a professional in this field. Anyway, they soon brought me to a hiring manager in the Pro Photo division. He definitely was thorough with technical questions & was very interested in my philosophy of how customers should be treated. He Focused on B&H reputation of being honest to customers & high level of expertise. Since I am quite good at both, I was subsequently made a decent offer (about two weeks later) & have since joined.

I applied online. I interviewed at B&H Photo Video (New York, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
When I got the call to interview it was high pressure. I was told I would start training a few days after the scheduled interview and that if I missed a day of training the job would be in jeopardy.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at B&H Photo Video (New York, NY)
Interview
You go in and speak to the HR person, Avi, then if you're lucky you can go in and speak to the manager and then sales director all in same day. If not, then you have to come back. I got called within a week that I got the job but didn't start until a month and a 1/2 later. It was also right before break so I immediately had 10 days off with no pay.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at B&H Photo Video (New York, NY) in Oct 2014
Interview
Very simple and straight forward. It was with very nice people and no tricks. I was asked for an resume and was asked things like where did I hear about B&H and what I expected out of the job and if I had plans on staying there for a while.
