I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BCA (New York, NY) in Jan 2022
Interview
A highly unstructured interview, that I had to steer, with an interviewer moved over from an online travel website, who had just moved to a new town, who tried to immediately focus on my out of work volunteering interests (?!) nice but doesnt get the job done or the multiple complex supply chain interdependencies of this company considered, measured for success or running smoothly.
I steered him into a more apropriate subject repeatedly including my preference to use metrics to measure the success of any piece of work, whilst being as professional & pleasant as possible considering.
He suggested he had personal things to take care of before i'd have any feedback, same day: I had to chase BCA recruitment almost 2 weeks later only for the mentioned intreviewer, who was clearly not very experienced & more than 'lost', to try to project his inadequacies onto me that I mention above.
The recruiter & every other part of the process with BCA has been excellent: timely, smooth & structured, so can only assume the interviewer is trying to bring in a friend to help him find his own feet.
