I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at BDO (Reading, England) in Mar 2016
Interview
Two people from your chosen service line will do the interview with you. It was more like a chatting rather than a formal interview.
One of them was late due to delay of his train, so we ended up repeating some of the questions and information again.
Overall it was an enjoyable experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. What do you know about ACA?
2. Why Reading?
3. Why your chosen university?
4. Why your chosen degree?
5. BDO's values? Explain. And which one is important for you?
6. What's your understanding of an excellent client services?
The interview lasted about an hour and included a mix of motivational and job simulation questions. They asked about my skills, previous experiences, and specifically why I chose BDO instead of the Big 4 firms.
The interview process at BDO typically includes an online application, assessment tests, one or more interviews (often behavioral and technical), and may involve case studies or situational exercises to evaluate problem-solving skills.
It was an easy and smooth interview process with friendly interviewer who was knowledgeable. The assessment centre was also a good experience and all the rounds were very clearly explained to us and the group discussion topics were also interesting.
