I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BNY in May 2026
Interview
Had a great interview process. The recruiter was there to assist with any questions throughout the duration of the application process. Team leadership was also great and ensured they let you know expectations for the role.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you led a business process and what was the outcome?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BNY (Boston, MA) in Dec 2012
Interview
I met with 5 people. The interview felt laid back as they really tried to get a feel for who you are. Obviously they got to the questions that test whether or not you have the experience necessary for the role. But it did not feel like I was being tested. You can tell they realize how important personality is and the ability to clique with the group. Certainly not overwhelming for an interview involving so many people.

Question 1
How would you friends describe you?
How can your past experience correlate to this role?
The interview went smoothly from the first steps. The interviewers were very prepared and were always able to discuss the next steps of the interview. Overall, they didn't only ask questions but were ready to answer mine.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at BNY (Pune) in Mar 2023
Interview
5 rounds - all technical and from different fields of work - become hard to explain what is required. It seemed that the JD was unclear to neither the candidate nor the panelist. Bar Raiser is also a technical round - the HR/ panelist are not clear on what to ask - so ask technical questions and not able to articulate the answer
