Recruiter used email to schedule interviews. Never got a chance to talk to the recruiter or ask questions in person. Interview with hiring manager, hiring manager's manager and another 2 directors that you may work with.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at BNY (Chennai) in Feb 2023
Interview
I attended three rounds of interview and didn't hear from them for two months. HR calls me after 2 months and tells me that i need to meet someone from US for my Final round. After meeting the US Manager I received a call the following day saying that I cleared all rounds and shared my salary related details for the offer.
HR then calls me the following day saying I need to meet more senior onshore managers. After meeting 2 more senior Managers I was told that the role is put on hold as they don't see requirements for the role anymore.
They just wasted my time and was not sorry for the poor interview process. Horrible experience.
I
Standard behavioural interviews with different members of the team at different levels, walk through of my CV, discussions re skills and experience and my future career plans. Overall highly disorganised and overly lengthy process, as well as poor communication throughout, at this level I would have expected a much slicker and more efficient process.
