I have previous experience in signage making for hotels, stores, and other businesses. I spoke to a specific individual in management for 30 minutes on the phone about my past experience and he liked it so he said he would send an invitation for an on site interview. I arrived and they took one look at me and me and said nobody was in to interview me. I asked for a supervisor.(it was a mid morning interview and if they knew nobody was going to be able to me meet then why didn't they call?) The receptionist went off to find someone and a few moments later an older fellow walked by. I told him what was happening and how there was nobody to meet me. He immediately got angry even though I wasn't and says he will give me an interview...standing right there in the lobby. Turns out he was the same guy who I spoke to on the phone for 30 minutes the other day. He found my resume and he angrily flapped through my resume. Says I don't have the qualifications needed. I reminded him he didn't say that in our phone call and his reply was to tell me to go post a bad review. I think they saw my age and that ended it.
