      Information Security Manager Interview

      14 Jul 2023

      No offer

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at BT Group (Sydney)

      Interview

Approached by HR for availability and the was interviewed by two folks. What a time waste it was. One of the guy asked for “defender for cloud” and I started explaining, then he told me it’s wrong. He then said, MCAS, which is clearly defender for cloud app and not defender for cloud. Told him, he wasn’t keen to listen that he’s wrong. Then asked some more stupid questions on Azure, which didn’t make sense. After 20 mins we disconnected and I shared the link of the two defenders and this guy still didn’t agree and pasted some old screenshots. Obviously, I replied him with correct link and up to date information, and this guy left. Simple thing is, if you’re not expert in specific technology, simply don’t ask those questions, rather proving yourself stupid.

      Question 1

Pretty illogical question on my expertise.
