I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bachem (Vista, CA) in May 2015
Interview
I met with 4 different people. The general vibe felt pretty laid back. The HR lady brought me into a room and sort of gave me a brief introduction of the interview process. Three people came in one at a time and conducted 1 on 1 interview. For the most part, the interviewers stressed on GMP and documentation and what is to be expected of employees. A few questions were asked about my research background and some other general questions. At times it felt more like the interviewers were telling me about the company than me telling the interviewers about myself.

Interview
The interview was on site with two hiring managers each cane in at separate times. Then you had an interview with HR. The interview was long with the manager talking for most of it describing the company. He asked a lot of questions chemistry based. They said they would contact you in a week but they never do.

Interview
Five people interviewed me at the same time, it was a little nerve racking. One grilled me on the concept of NMR, turns out they dont even have an NMR...
I applied online via Craigslist and got contacted by a recruiter. The recruiter was very professional, but I can't say the same about the people who interviewed me from the company. I had a panel interview and although one of them was a good, the other two were unprofessional. One was doodling and the other was just not really caring about what he was doing in the room. And these were supervisors. Im actually not surprised given the overall rating of this company on this website.
