I submitted a very long application form and then had a phone interview, if I had done well I think the next step would be an assessment centre. The phone interview questions were mostly "tell me about a time when you... faced a challenge/worked under pressure" etc but there were also a few about my academic record, choices made and career aspirations.
online video interview - 4 hour case study with group discussion - quite hard and people were dominating the chat so make sure that you are fast but at the same time not rude

Interview
Zoom interview, they sent us a 2-paged problem on a company looking to expand into another country, and we needed to broadly discuss the legal issues involved for about 20 minutes. Also had to summarize our discussion in both English and Chinese.

The clerkship day consists of self-introduction, group discussion and Q&A, which is also a great chance to see around the office. People are nice, and the process is enjoyable.
