Initial communication was good - the HR staff member was professional in setting up the initial telephone interview and the face to face interview.
The telephone interview: Lasted around 40 minutes. All the usual questions about background, what I knew of the role and company and where I thought I would fit in.
Face to face: I was magnificently disappointed at this stage. Initial reception by the interviewer was cold to say the least. I got the feeling she didn't really know what she was doing. After a 'numerical reasoning' test (that was no more numerical reasoning than painting by numbers) I had a 'chat' with two members of staff, neither of whom seemed to know what the job entailed. They sat with legs up, slouched back and basically asked the same questions over and over, all of which had been asked in the telephone interview.
Was not impressed by the view I had of the company at all. I haven't heard the outcome yet: if there's an offer I will be declining, if there is no offer then lucky escape.
