I applied through a recruitment agency who took all my information, I was then called in for a 1st stage interview with the digital marketing manager who followed up with a task based assessment for an email marketing campaign. I received a call within 3 hours of my submission inviting me for a second stage interview the next day. I received positive feedback on the task including commentary that I made the work my own, I then met with 2 higher level execs who had not even looked at my CV before the interview. 3 days later I saw the job posting had been reposted on linkedIn and was only informed 2 days later that I did not get the job, with the feedback saying they did not feel as though my task was original enough (despite saying so during the second interview). I would not consider this a negative experience had they been honest in their feedback about the task and had they informed me that I was denied the job before they posted it on LinkedIn.
