I applied online. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Braintree, MA) in Jun 2016
Interview
The interview was about thirty minutes long, consisting of behavioral questions and a brief shadowing of one of the current veterinary assistants. Overall, the process was very professional; the manager reserved a room for us in the hospital and told me about their expectations of me and informed me of what a typical day in the hospital looked like. Additionally, the manager asked me about my past experiences and ways in which I could apply those experiences to their team.

The interview was in-person just like regular phone interviews. They first ask you to introduce yourself and describe your experiences. Then, they ask about certain skills like catheter placement, blood draw, and surgery monitoring. I think it lasted about 20-30 minutes.
