I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Shawnee, KS)
Interview
Applied online, and was contacted a few days post. They did not have very hard questions during the interview process just your standard "describe a difficult client and how you would deal with them" "what are you biggest strengths and weaknesses" etc. You will get an "observation" interview if they are interested. During the observation interview you will well observe as much as possible- you will not be allowed to touch any of the pets (make sure to get to know the surgery and exam room processes and ask any questions you have at that time to everyone you meet). You will then be called a few days later or know after the observation if you are hired. Once hired you will have general paper work to fill out and proceeded to take a drug test. After the drug test is complete and passed you will start work. After being hired you will be provided with 1 pair of scrubs if part-time and two for full-time that is usually all they will provided you with during however many years of service.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult questions are about the wellness plans.
The interview process was easy to schedule and see through, especially if you are confident in your skills. Basic questions were asked, nothing too challenging. This is a corporate vet clinic. Have your resume ready to reference.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review about your experience. We are glad to hear it went well. We wish you the best of luck in your future.
it was okay, woman was nice but followup is really bad, you have to be very very pushy. lots of putting off your needs and questions. overall though it was okay, i’ve had worse interviews lol
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Austin, TX) in Sept 2020
Interview
They phoned me and asked some simple standard questions. They promised to reply me back to see if they are going to hire me or not. They never reply me back. I email them to get further information, they just asked more about the working authorization and I didn’t hear from them since then.
Thank you for applying to Banfield. The hiring process can be a lengthy one. Please feel free to contact your local Banfield to inquire if the position is still open and if you are still being considered.
