Round table interview with scenario questions. Nothing too intense, but they liked a lot of detail. Engaged multiple levels of staff in process. Not much more to say but this esquires 30 words do I’ll keep tying.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Banner Health (Mesa, AZ) in Apr 2016
Interview
The nurse managers I interviewed with were so nice and down-to-earth. They were making jokes and laughing, which made me feel comfortable and less intimidated with them and about the entire process. After the questioning they took me around the units to show me where I would be working at.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about yourself. Talk about a conflict you had with a coworker. What would you do if a patient reported having chest pain? How do you organize your shift? Why should we hire you? Do you have EKG reading experience? Tell us about your strengths. Name 2 weakness of yours.
It was very nerve wrecking. It was very good. They were asking general behavioral questions. I really enjoyed interviewing with them. Banner is a large hospital that takes forever to get their applications accepted and interviewed for.
