Went through three rounds of interviews including the recruiter call. The first interview was a phone call, the second interview was a zoom call and the third interview was in person. Very standard, a lot to do with engagement and prior experience leading groups of people in high stress times.

I had a phone screen with a recruiter. I thought everything went well and I had all the skills required for the position. I was a little concerned about the personal assistant portion of the job, as I had a previous employer who abused this part of the role. Otherwise I thought the job sounded great. I even sent a polite follow up reiterating my interest and clarifying my position on personal assistance - I do enjoy that part of the job, just not when it overwhelms the business side of things. Never heard from them again, not even a polite rejection email. It’s too bad they decided to unprofessionally ghost me, I liked everything I heard and would have enjoyed further interviews. Maybe the boss IS someone who places more value on the personal assistance part of the role.

They had an initial phone interview with Human Resources to judge initial fit, then an in-office interview with a manager and then finally an-office interview with the Director of Sales
