I applied in-person. I interviewed at Basement Systems (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2025
Interview
Long and informative. Two different times and managers. The HR pe4son seemed confused. Too many red flags. The communication was not up to par. Lots of driving involved and longer hours.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Basement Systems (Clarksburg, WV) in Nov 2019
Interview
Initial interview was simple, getting to know me, my previous work history etc. I
was then brought back for a second interview with basic and challenging questions, meeting a few other team members and going into more details about what the position would entail

What are some of your qualifications / previous experience that makes you the right fit for the position?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Basement Systems (Seymour, CT) in May 2019
Interview
After a brief phone interview and a salary discussion I was brought in for a lengthy personal interview. I was given a personal tour of the facility and then sat in a glass room with the interviewer. Everybody was very nice, especially the receptionists. The interviewer asked many questions and I was able to answer all of them and was familiar with their entire workflow including how to shoot the types of projects they would be working on as well as the software they would be editing with. However, the interviewer would look over my shoulder every so often and seemed distracted and rushed towards the end. I'm not quite sure what was going on behind me... perhaps the boss walked by - but the number of times he looked over my shoulder and lost his train of thought was fairly large and came off as unprofessional.
