I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works
Interview
Before you read - The interview and Orientation was really easy and friendly. It's only when you get hired that everything changes. In my opinion anyways.
Interview process
- It was a group interview. There was about 8 - 10 people cramped in the backroom with boxes all around. Originally the interview should have been at the food court but it was full so we ended back there.
- Manager and co-manager were holding the interview.
- Asked us to introduce ourselves.
-Asked us why we should be hired.
-Explained to us the primary duties/ what they expected and outfits
Advice - They got annoyed that I was early so we waited outside until the interview set time.
Don't go early. Be confident, and don't worry about being nervous.
Hiring process
- Five of us were hired. Went to the backroom again to fill out paper work and read a booklet on the job description and a quiz on WHMIS symbols etc.
- It was cramped back there and dangerous because the egg cartons toppled over one girl.
- We sat there for 2-3 hours filling out paperwork. At that time the manager was really friendly.
- Once we filled out the paperwork we were taught how to put on the apron, radio's and headsets. We were separated to do different training. We only did ONE training that did. So some of us did Cleaning / Sales. Some of us did Cash and the remaining did Stock.
That is pretty much the ORIENTATION*

I applied online. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works in Oct 2025
Interview
First, they called to set up an interview. Then, they interviewed in a small employee area of the store. They said they would get back to me within three days then they ghosted me. I called to follow up and was told they would get back to me the next week. Again, I was ghosted with zero communication (not even a rejection email).

Group interview with 2 other people. Pretty straightforward questions like your work experience, favorite scent, why you want to work there, and availability. The manager was super nice and friendly.
