      I interviewed at Bayer

      Interview

Fairly well organized, but some people were on the interview committee that really didn't make any sense since you wouldn't be working with them much. Nice people overall. Where it fell apart was the post interview rejection phase. A candidate, after spending significant time interviewing with a company for a job which they are 110% qualified, should NEVER need to reach out to HR to find out where they are in the process of making a decision. Moreover, an email response, stating "please consider us in the future" is not an appropriate response for a well qualified candidate. HR should call the candidate and explain why the qualified candidate did not get the job. I will never consider applying for another job at Bayer based on this bad post interview behavior. Companies need to start to realize that if they want to have good candidates consider them in the future, they need to start behaving better.
