Interview was brief over the phone. They said they would call me back because there are roles available, including a long term I could fit into, which is what I wanted and was available for both. Especially with a teacher shortage like this one going on in our state due to the waves of covid, changes in laws and district admin, money vs stress, etc. I agree to come back to sub, because that's what is needed and I need the money and they have not contacted me again. I even reached out and got to another recruiter type like the one I interviewed with, who seemed unsure of what to do. at first until the she put me on hold. Like she was only trained to do what thing and they have no connection to the next step in the process, or there is no next step.(Like one of those that scam the government benefits pretending they are struggling to fill roles with qualified staff.) When she came back on finally she kind of casually says that someone will get call me back about the next step. Its been two months now at least. I know for a fact there are almost no teachers and no subs in some schools here. Like principals and admin staff stepping into classroom to fill where they can. Some districts had to close in some parts of another major city here. So I don't know what Be A Champion is about.
