I was an independent contractor with the company working remotely and was invited to apply for a staff position. Telephone and Skype interviews were conducted over a one month period with one individual. Because I already worked for the company, the process was simplified.

I had a Phone Interview followed by a test to see what skills I had. Part of the test was to send the project in and then make changes after receiving feedback. After making changes and resubmitting i never heard back from them again even after sending in a followup email.
