I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Belk (Huntsville, AL) in Apr 2015
Interview
Interview went well. Down to earth. Very nice. Asked what department I would be interested in and if I wanted to interview with the other areas. How long she had been with the company and what it offered asked if I was willing to work weekends, holidays, nights and then let me know she would call me to set up another interview will all other managers. Called me a week later to schedule and everybody seemed very nice and pretty down to earth. Went over dress attire and that's it.
I was a referral and had a brief discussion with the manager and got the job relatively easily. I think getting this job was one of the easier jobs I was able to obtain. However, this was back in 2010.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me what my availability would be since it was around the holiday season.
One Interview with the department manager for a sales position. Super short, simple, and to the point.
I received the offer same down and then had to schedule onboarding with Human Resources.
It was your basic questions. Went fine. Nothing too detailed but it was for a base position at the holidays. They were looking for anyone dependable with a car basically.
