This was for a remote role. After the phone screening, the formal job interview followed. The 1-hour remote interview was led by the prospective boss. Two team members also participated. It began with a long introduction to the company, the type of research they do, and a light overview of their product. The team members explained the work they do. In the end, I was asked to do a 1-hour test project. The prospective boss never turned on his camera. In addition, he was blunt and made comments that turned me off from working with him. I declined the role.
