The interview process started off well. I first spoke with a recruiter who was courteous and informative. After that, I was scheduled for an in-person interview, where I met with a few of team members. The interview itself was straightforward, focused on my payroll experience, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the company and the role.
Unfortunately, after the interview, I did not receive a status update or closure, despite being told in my interview I would hear back regardless. While the initial steps were promising and professional, the lack of communication afterward was disappointing. I would recommend clearer follow-up practices to improve the candidate experience.
