I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Betabrand in Jun 2022
Interview
Interviewed with HR, VP of Brand and two designers. Walked each through my portfolio and had a relaxed conversation about the role. All my questions were answered.
The process took about 2 weeks from the initial interview to offer.
Super casual, low pressure and easy. Did interview a few times with different people but all very informal feeling. Really not a challenging interview process, almost felt it could have been more.

Interview
Received an email from HR saying she had my resume on her desk. Had an initial call with the HR lady to talk about basic stuff.
It seemed like she was just going through the motions. It was obvious when she asked me to send her my resume when I had already done so. (She realized it quickly and said she found it.)
Looked like she had not read my resume ahead of time nor had she checked my portfolio. Asked me to explain my work history etc. Instead of specific questions she was asking me to give her the whole history.
Asked for my salary range and I responded with the numbers I have been working with. However, when I asked her about their salary range for the position, she told me that they did not divulge such information. It was really weird. Right after that the phone call ended.
She didn't ask me if I had any questions etc. The whole phone call lasted maybe 8 minutes or something.
I understand that maybe they were going through the motions of interviewing a specific number of people to satisfy their diversity etc quota but it left me feeling like they had already hired someone and they were going through the motions.
