Applied online and heard back from the hiring manager pretty quickly to schedule an initial phone screen. The next step was to speak with the recruiter, and then from there, I was given a take-home project.
The project was fair and pretty on par with some of the others I have done lately. For the role, it shouldn't seem too crazy if you are qualified.
The next step was a round of about five interviews, one of which was walking through the project. The non-project review interviews were a mix of behavioral/"we had this problem, how would you handle it?".
I heard back from the recruiter the following day notifying me the feedback was good but they had others in the process and it would take a bit longer. I was notified about two weeks later they were not moving forward. Definitely a bummer after 7ish interviews and a take-home project, but that's just how it goes sometimes. Would have been nice to get some real feedback since I invested so much time, but again, pretty par for the course for companies these days.
