Met with recruiter...very basic questions around a significant role for the company (or so I thought), and was told they would be passing profile along. A few days later, got a basic formula email of they are passing. Same day as getting the email, received a text saying they wanted to move forward with a call to CEO, but then blamed 'phone pulled wrong name' and said the LinkedIn rejection was accurate. Bush league and unprofessional, especially for an executive-level role. Six months later, the role is still open, which says a lot about the leadership capabilities of this company.
