I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Blatchford (Basingstoke, England) in Aug 2025
Interview
The whole process took 1.5 months and I ended up in the final round. Very personable, good community of people. However, when they decided they didn't want me they did not communicate at all, I had to chase them up. I found this a bit rude, given that it was the final round and I had given up more than half a day to drive to their office, and met 3 people face-to-face for a series of interviews.
I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Blatchford in May 2025
Interview
Initial phone conversation: asked my salary expectations, asked clarification on experience listed on my CV, explained a bit about the role. Stated they'd be in touch to arrange interview.
In person interview: interviewers were late seeing me (it was a working clinic, so it's a little expected), I was asked pretty standard interview questions, in a regular format. Interviewers were working from a sheet of questions. I was then left with a technician for a chat about the finer details of the job role and where my experience would fit in.

Question 1
Was all very standard questions. Give an example of where you overcame... what would you do if... etc etc.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Blatchford (Basingstoke, England)
Interview
Process took months because of the senior manager's lack of communication during the initial process. I didn't even apply for the role and was headhunted by a contracting agency as I didn't live near their Basingstoke branch. However, it felt like an 'attempt' to powerplay me initially (given the huge downtime to respond with a yes or no to me). I had all the relevant medical devices experience and used to work in automotive too so Understood the engineering processes they needed. In the end, I got job, OK salary. Interview very easy even for people with first language not English.
