Met with a few people - basic interview questions. Hiring manager, national partner, and a few other people in the region. It was pretty straight forward, but rather long. In total, I had three interviews with a range of people.
I applied online. I interviewed at Blood Cancer United (Houston, TX)
Interview
Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating and demeaning interview process. I had 5 rounds:
1) Phone screen with HR
2) Video call with hiring manager
3) Video call with deputy executive director
4) In-person with hiring manager
5) In-person with deputy executive director and executive director
These were all over a nearly 3 month period. There was a 3-week communication gap between rounds 2 and 3, and my follow up emails went unanswered. Nearly a month after my fifth(!) interview, and again, after zero communication, I got a generic "Thank you for your interest" rejection email from HR. On New Year's Day!!
The entire process made me feel like my time wasn't being valued or respected. Overall, it was very frustrating and unfortunately left a very bad taste in my mouth. The mission is incredible but how they treat applicants leaves a lot to be desired.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Blood Cancer United in Apr 2022
Interview
Met with recruiter and then my boss, and then my bosses boss (ED). Everyone was super friendly in the interview, but what they do not tell you is that 60% of the company is new within the last two years,
