      Software Developer (IOS) Interview

      26 Aug 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (London, England) in Jul 2016

      Interview

      1. Applied through their website 2. Received an online coding assignment. It was a long one. 3. An interview (remote) During this entire process, the only communication with recruiter was through emails. They were not very keen on talking about the role they were offering. My code assignment and interview went really well. The interviewer seemed quite happy and impressed with the code and its ability to incorporate new changes. But to my utter surprise, I was not extended an offer. When I asked for feedback, despite writing several mails to them, I didn't receive any reply. It's perfectly fine if you think a candidate is not fit. But I think one rightly deserves feedback because they have invested valuable hours in going through the recruitment process.
