It took about 2 weeks (up to now). I applied online and received a phone interview after a few days. I was told to come for an in-house interview one day after the call. I was told to be interviewed by 2 team leaders: 1 from sale and 1 from analytics. I was really impressed of the opened working environment at Bloomberg, and their team leaders were really nice. I just want to be there once again (haha) During the interview, I was nervous and didn't answer all the question well or at least to my expectation (after the interview and reflected back, I thank I could do better). I did research about what kind of questions they would ask. But again, it happened in a different way... The leaders really went deeply into my qualifications and studies and asked why I chose this position instead of consulting or banking. I was quite shaken to hear that and indeed, they asked a lot of questions to figure my interest and WHY I applied to the position and HOW I could contribute. I think it was good to prepare before the interview, at least, you could hold your breath and be more confident. However, be prepared that things may (or definitely) go beyond your expectation. Personally, I think finance-related questions would be easier, and it would be your lucky day if the interviewer asked about your finance knowledge . 6 month interview cycle so it takes a while to actually talk to managers. The trader was not the nicest and would laugh after interviews. Overall a really long process
