I had a very odd experience. It began with a quick phone interview, which was perfectly normal, and then they called me in for an in person. I wasn't given any info prior to the interview, I got there and was told I'd be meeting with 5 or 6 separate people for a half hour each. I believe the job posting was also misleading- I was under the impression that it was a content creation role and it wasn't. I was not at all qualified for the role so I'm still unclear on why they interviewed me in the first place. There was a short HTML test which I didn't do great on, again, because this wasn't a role I would've applied for if it had been clear from the description. By the third interviewer, I thought I was doing OK especially considering the situation. The interviewer was asking me questions like normal, and suddenly left the room for a minute, came back, and in a panic told me there was some sort of crisis with the website and I had to leave.
I never got any sort of follow up, my only point of contact had been the receptionist so I emailed her to reschedule and never heard anything. Maybe that was their way of telling me I wasn't going to get hired. An email would've sufficed.
