The first interview was with a recruiter, and it was pretty good. Focused on my experience, discussion and short presentation about the company. The recruiter shared a document with the description of each step in their recruitment process, in which there was a description about the next phase as a Technical Interview with someone from the team.
It was written that the Technical Interview would be a discussion about my skills, experiences, and possibility of a live coding challenge for analysis and discussion and I should prepare myself for sharing some cases I worked in the past and discuss the technical part of the case.
However, the "Technical Interview" was not even a proper interview. The analyst joined the meeting, shared his screen and said that it would be a test in which I had to choose and answer some of the questions from a document in his screen. It was never communicated before that I would have to take a test.
After that, the analyst said he didn't have any questions and asked if I had. So, the "Interview" never happened. I took a test and no one asked anything. Summarizing, the meeting was totally different from the real meeting. This misalignment influences the was that the candidates prepare themselves for the interview negatively.
After the meeting, I sent an email to the recruiter and decided to not continue in the process.
