This is one of the most time consuming and stressful interviews I’ve had to do. It consists of a 30 min phone screen, free writing essay, hour long PowerPoint presentation, 5 person panel interviews (had to take a day of PTO for this), and a 30 minute bar raiser interview. They give you a couple videos to watch to help you write your essay. I added a slide about my personal life into my ppt which was appreciated by my panelists so we could open up the conversation to things like our pets, hobbies, and favorite shows. All my interviewers were kind but are very educated on the work they do. That being said, you need to study up on all the work Blue is doing: what our mission is, what’s going on in the news, and figure out how YOU can contribute to their work and WHY it matters to you. The “why” is extremely important. Blue prides themselves on their leadership principles and Blue’s are similar to Amazon’s which are public. Check out Amazon’s leadership principles to guide your answers and incorporate into your presentation.
