Ok major red flags here— I don’t think they understand what they are asking for. It sounds like they want is a marketing manager or vp, not a Agile or SAFE product Manager. Virtually no questions were asked about how you would implement software or find out needs of customer for what what software product features they want.
Clearly, they are worried more about marketing and sales, rather then how to and what to execute and build.
Another couple of red flags— at First recruiter gave and agreed to salary range, then said made a mistake and said you’d have to be willing to take 10k less. Uh huh...sure. Also, as of interview they had no plans for a 401k match, which is why they kept referring to how awesome working at the star in Frisco would be— you get to see a field and access to fitness room.
