      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BlueLink (Santiago) in May 2019

      Interview

I applied online for a position in the Santiago, Chile branch. The first contact was an email asking me to come in for a test. This was a group event, we filled in a written test in Spanish which covered logic questions and a personality assessment. There was also a good deal of writing. Later I received and email notifying me that I had passed the first stage, and giving me instructions to go to a language institute across town to take an assessment in the 2nd language (I was hired for Spanish and English, but because the job was in Chile, English was considered to be my 2nd language. Other people were hired to work in Spanish and French). The written test was simple, but confusing for me as a native speaker of English and former English teacher, because it had at least one error and a couple of things that didn't quite make sense. There was also a recorded, spoken English test, but the directions were not explained. I was just told we would do some 'scenarios'... so again, even as a native speaker I wasn't quite sure what was expected. Also it was awkward because a non-native English teacher was evaluating the English of a native English teacher. It must have been awkward for her, too! After passing the English test, I was called in for another interview. This was a friendly sit-down chat with a senior manager and the head of HR. We spoke in Spanish, they asked me a bit about my work history and reasons for my interest in the job, then discussed the challenges and what to expect. After that, I emailed documents proving my work status in Chile, and shortly afterwards received a formal offer of employment.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at BlueLink (Prague) in May 2026

      Interview

The process starts with an initial HR contact to complete a written test about customer service, followed by a written exchange about salary once the test is done, before the first interview. The HR contact changes mid-process without explanation, just before the interview. The interview itself starts several minutes late, the exchange remains cold and one-sided. It feels more like an interrogation than a conversation. Questions about company culture and job-related topics receive evasive answers. The only real answer given is that the company is "not toxic", which raises eyebrows. If you ask for transparency and explanation, you get the runaround. The rejection arrives in two separate emails four minutes apart, one automated and one personal, despite a prior agreement on salary and conditions. The wording of the rejection contrasts sharply with how the process actually unfolded.

      Interview

At BlueLink, they really want to ensure that you have a general background of customer service and think of ways to retain customers. There are a lot of scenario-based questions, but they also want to ensure if you will be a great fit to the team.
