I interviewed at the Brentwood location and after waiting 20 minutes, I had the opportunity to engage in a wonderful exchange. I was told about the great strides Bluemercury has made over the years, I was told the job expectation and asked about my experience. Their mission is one of outstanding customer service and attention to detail. I really enjoyed my interview and was offered a position almost immediately. I know I process the skills, the maturity and the attitude they are looking for. This job is not for whiners, complainers and people looking for an excuse for their shortcomings.

Interview
Walked in and gave my resume. Then had an introduction with my locations manager. It was a very simple process. It seemed like they were looking to see more of a culture fit.
Interviewer focused a lot on my physical appearance a bit more than normal even for a beauty company, asking if the amount of makeup I wore to the interview was my everyday makeup, what I was wearing in detail, and said my nail length was good (I was wearing fake nails). That's all I remember because it was so odd to me.

Can you describe the products you used for your makeup routine today?
In-person, was told to fill out a form when I got home-- despite filling it out, I never heard back. This was very frustrating when they made it very clear how the process would go. I really didn't expect this from them.
