Sat down in the cafe and talked. Really laid back experience and felt more like a conversation than interview. Ran through the essentials of the store and the basics of what my duties would be.

The interview was simple: I came, sat down and spoke with the manager. Discussed some of my work experience. The manager seemed very eager to find someone who could move up. They did do a background check on me. Had to wait a long time before I got that over with -- like week and a half. The boss seemed very in need of help. And had an underlying stressor that manifested itself as repeating over and over, "we gotta sell discount cards".
