It was a phone interview followed by a proposal to teach a remote shadowing class. During a second phone conversation, I asked if they require a contract and the replied they don’t. Because they don’t require a contact, I asked about work expectations, pay frequency, payroll deadlines, ethics, conduct policy, course load, etc. and they interpreted it as if I were mistrusting the company by reminding me about their good reputation since their foundation. After that, I told the interviewer that I changed my mind and declined.
