Had an interview with two PIs that I indicated interest to work with. It was very relaxed and they also explained what they do in their labs, their working style and the type of student they are looking for to join their lab.
One round of interviews, all behavioral related to the field I applied to. It was very informal and just to see if our research goals aligned after we discussed research background. Mostly went over the projects that would be worked on in the future.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Boston University

[After reaching out to professor]Meet with professor one wants to do research under. He looks through your resume and sees if you are a good fit. After then you are asked some question about your knowledge and then you are shown the lab, etc.
