Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During this conversation, I was asked general questions about my background and experience, as well as my main motivation for wanting to join Brainlab.
Screening call from the recruiter, covered the basics about the company and confirmed my background lined up with what they needed. Friendly and to the point.
The technical interview was with two engineers. They asked about my experience with Kubernetes, how I'd manage secrets across environments, and walked me through a troubleshooting scenario where a deployment kept failing. Good questions, guys were kind. They also dug into my Terraform experience and asked how I'd structure modules for a multi-account AWS setup.
Never get into third round though.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Brainlab (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2026
