I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Brainloop (Munich, Bavaria) in Sept 2020
Interview
First interview was with an engineering director. Was then asked to complete a 'homework assignment' of medium complexity that took ~10 hours to complete. Second interview was with the team lead and consisted of some technical questions and a code review of the homework assignment.
I received an offer for the position and after some brief negotiation we agreed on a contract, however Brainloop HR never sent over the contract and instead a few days later called and said they would be revoking the contract, with no explanation why. There were several instances throughout the hiring process where the people in charge of hiring at Brainloop would send me meeting invites for the wrong dates and times, or links for meetings that weren't valid. Overall I would rate the entire process as unprofessional.

Code a one page iOS app with one core functionality and a few basic features and a few optional extra features.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Brainloop (London, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
Very easy. I was recommended Brainloop by my agent who was raving about the company and its prospects. The actual interview was super easy. The London manager pitched the role to me and told me about his strategy. I demonstrated a relevant experience. Be aware that when you get a job in sales there is a cold calling daily quota to be reached. If you don't mind doing inside sales for the first year, go for it. Otherwise look for something else.

Question 1
Typical experience related questions. Quite an informal process really. There are 3 stages of it though. Local interview in London, then a chat with the CSO and his advisor at the end. Nothing to worry about.
