I had a Teams interview with the CEO, Andrew Toomi, on a Sunday — the only time he made available. He joined late, kept his camera off, and came across as condescending from the start. When I asked a basic question — "What clients would I be working with most?" — he ignored it and instead asked, "What do we do?" multiple times in a patronizing tone.
The company’s website is extremely vague, so there’s only so much research a candidate can realistically do beforehand. I gave a reasonable answer based on what little information was available, but he cut me off and said, "Looks like you weren't prepared," before abruptly ending the call.
The whole experience was unprofessional and disrespectful — especially considering it was scheduled on a weekend. First interviews are supposed to be a two-way conversation, but this felt like a setup. Based on the tone and structure, it seems like one of those high-turnover sales companies targeting inexperienced candidates. I wouldn’t recommend engaging with this company. Leadership sets the tone — and if this is any indication, you’re better off looking elsewhere.
