I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BrightView (Fresno, CA) in Jun 2020
Interview
The process consisted on a pre-screening with the internal recruiter then 5 phone interviews over the course of a about a month with various people within the organization.
The issue was that each interviewer blew smoke along the way telling me I was a qualified candidate and that if i had any follow up questions to just reach out and they would be happy to answer them for me. Not true. My calls were not returned. I was never provided a status or an update. All I ever received was the form email rejection letter 1 month after the final interview. Very unprofessional. A complete waste of time.

Question 1
Typical questions about past experience, what i know about the company, why I want the position, about how I structure my day etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BrightView in Nov 2022
Interview
It was a 3 part interview. 1st is a screening with the Recruiter, 2nd is with the Hiring manager and the 3rd was with HR and Regional Director. Interview mostly was going over my experience and answering situational (what would I do in this circumstance) questions. I also did complete a personality/talent profile quiz which also helped to determine my work style as well as highlighting my strengths. While the experience felt assuring and was positive, at the end they decided to go with a candidate who had more relative experience. Even as they claim they hire diverse candidates, the company seems to only want to hire the absolute best candidates... those who have landscaping experience, regardless of if you have enterprise and SMB sales experience closing large deals.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BrightView
Interview
Interviewer had no paper or pen. Provided no documents on compensation plan. Said we sell work by telling our clients on our focus on safety. That is fine and dandy for OSHA. Doesn't broach landscape issues of client. I asked about tenure of BD's and the question was never answered.
