I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Brighthouse Financial (Charlotte, NC) in Mar 2018
Interview
I had a chance to meet Brighthouse Financial at my University's Career Fair, from where I got a call for an interview within a week. The position was for their New Business Technology intern. There were going to be two interviews, first one was HR interview, where I was asked few behavioral questions. The interviewer then described the intern's expected role for this position. This role was much more focused on Software development side, which I was not earlier aware of. I expected it to be something about Data analytics. It was evident that I won't be having the next round as I was not a "Software" guy. But overall the interview process was smooth. I even got a feedback about my interview and the reasons why I was rejected. And the reason was exactly what I had guessed!

Interview
One phone interview, one assessment, and one in-person interview. Not at all challenging. Mostly felt like regular conversations between friends. The interview process is definitely tweaked in order to make it easier for college students who may not have an extensive interview experience.
