      Director of Client Services Interview

      6 Apr 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Indianapolis, IN
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Briljent (Indianapolis, IN)

      Interview

SEVERAL months worth of interviews - 8 interviews with 7 different people. Other people get hired very quickly. There has been very high turnover for the last 18 months, so hiring has been much quicker recently. They ask about past experience and your willingness to “go above and beyond for the sake of the company.“ Asked about the willingness to work over 40 hours when necessary (the expectation is overtime every week). They asked about communication preferences, the books you read, how you operate and organize your day, how you set goals, overcoming challenges, and a bit about overall experience. They asked how you plan to contribute to their culture. This is a trick question, seeing if you looked on their website to review their communication, Creed and nonnegotiable items(“NNIs” with the coined phrase “Never Let Donkeys in the Pool” Employees are the donkeys). Once you get the job, besides the usual HR forms, HR will have you complete a skills and experience questionnaire (~20 min). ASK ABOUT WORK/LIFE BALANCE!

      Interview questions [1]
